Cycle skills sessions and cycle maintenance workshops
We run 2 hour cycle skills sessions with qualified instructors at 3 levels:
- Learn to Ride for those who have never learned to ride a bike
- Traffic Free for those who want to practice their skills like braking, cornering and chaining gear in a traffic free environment
- Quiet Roads for those who want to gain confidence cycling on the road
We run cycle maintenance workshop about 4 times a year where you can learn how to look after your bike, including how to clean your bike, how to change an inner tube and how to fix minor issues with brakes and gears.

Inclusive Rides back to top
Start point: Greenbank Sports Academy, Greenbank Lane, Liverpool L17 1AG
The Inclusive Rides begin with 30-45 minutes trying out the cycles in the sports hall at Greenbank Sports Academy. This is so that riders can get used to the cycles and practise steering, braking and changing gear.
The ride will then move out to traffic free paths in Sefton Park.
On leaving Greenbank Sports Academy riders can choose to walk their cycle along the pavement to Sefton Park or cycle along the road to the Park accompanied by a ride leader.
