Support for Internet Explorer

It looks like you’re using Microsoft Internet Explorer as your web browser. This is now considered ‘end-of-life’, and Microsoft is withdrawing support for it because it uses outdated technology. This means that it will no longer receive important security updates and previous bugs will not be fixed.

This means that the risk and cost are placed on service providers to develop twice for modern browsers and again for Internet Explorer. As free, modern alternatives are available for most platforms it is difficult to justify spending public money on further development.

Friends of Sefton Park

A group of local people and from those from further afield who love and care for Sefton Park and want to see it thrive for people and nature.

We will be calling out for people to help from a constituted group to create aims, a vision and how these can be put into place.

Dens of Sanctuary workshops at the Botanic Park (Not a Sefton Park event)

  • Andrea, who organises the FoSP group, has a residency with The Friends of Botanic Park delivering den building on Saturdays in March to celebrate the park as a sanctuary for both people and nature.
  • All free, all welcome.

2024 Litter pick dates

Our litterpicks are one Sunday a month until December. Meet at the cafe by Eros Fountain 11am and we end 12.30pm. All kit provided, refreshments for all volunteers thanks to the support from Gino and all at the cafe. Sunday dates are:

19 May           16 June
21 July         25 August      15 September
27 October  17 November  29 December
