Support for Internet Explorer

It looks like you’re using Microsoft Internet Explorer as your web browser. This is now considered ‘end-of-life’, and Microsoft is withdrawing support for it because it uses outdated technology. This means that it will no longer receive important security updates and previous bugs will not be fixed.

This means that the risk and cost are placed on service providers to develop twice for modern browsers and again for Internet Explorer. As free, modern alternatives are available for most platforms it is difficult to justify spending public money on further development.

Kensington Community Learning Centre (KCLC) – Activities and Courses

KCLC has shut its doors to all students and drop in services until further notice. The foodbank will still remain open Tuesday 10am-1pm and Friday 10am – 1pm

KCLC can help you by telephone to complete forms online if you have lost someone close to you and need to deal with their property, money and possessions. Call 0151 260 1006.


Centre offering a range of activities and courses to the local community.

All week

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) courses

  • From pre-entry level through to advanced level. We are continuously enrolling new students and no appointment is needed. Just call into reception for an assessment to get you started on the right course.

IT courses

  • From Online Basics through to ITQ at Levels 1 and 2. Places are limited and must be booked in advance.

Monday 

  • Job Club sessions and Individual CV advisor. Must be booked in advance.

Tuesday

  • On the second Tuesday of every month from 4pm we have our popular Board Game Evening. £4 (£3 consessions). Free tea, coffee & snacks are available.

Wednesday

  • 10am – 12pm and 1 – 3pm Arts & Crafts Workshops – A variety of projects suitable for beginners. Drop in, no booking needed

Friday

  • Tutor Supported Open IT Session 1 – 3pm. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis only and cost £1 per session.
  • Job Club sessions and Individual CV advisor. Must be booked in advance.
