Support for Internet Explorer

It looks like you’re using Microsoft Internet Explorer as your web browser. This is now considered ‘end-of-life’, and Microsoft is withdrawing support for it because it uses outdated technology. This means that it will no longer receive important security updates and previous bugs will not be fixed.

This means that the risk and cost are placed on service providers to develop twice for modern browsers and again for Internet Explorer. As free, modern alternatives are available for most platforms it is difficult to justify spending public money on further development.

Please see the Withdrawal of support for Internet Explorer notice from NHS Digital for more information and guidance.

CARA: Irish Communities Together Through Covid 19 Programme

Irish Community Care in partnership with Irish community groups in the North West is launching an important new programme named CARA.

There are many members of our communities who may need a helping hand or a listening ear to get through the Covid 19 pandemic. Many of us are older, in poor health; many of us live alone far from family and friends.

Get involved as a volunteer (this might mean picking up the phone for a chat or picking up groceries or a prescription) – please complete this
short form

Request help If you know someone who is isolated or likely to need a bit more support during the coming months, please help spread the word to them or fill in this
short form
and we will take it from there.

Or you can call 0151 237 3987 for further information.
