Support for Internet Explorer

It looks like you’re using Microsoft Internet Explorer as your web browser. This is now considered ‘end-of-life’, and Microsoft is withdrawing support for it because it uses outdated technology. This means that it will no longer receive important security updates and previous bugs will not be fixed.

This means that the risk and cost are placed on service providers to develop twice for modern browsers and again for Internet Explorer. As free, modern alternatives are available for most platforms it is difficult to justify spending public money on further development.

Provides support to ex-servicemen and women and for those leaving the services and residing in the Liverpool area. 

Liverpool Veterans HQ can provide or access the following:

  • Employment & job search support
  • Confidential referrals to mental health support programmes
  • CV support & work clubs
  • Volunteering programmes
  • Social events
  • Access to benefit and housing support
  • Drop in sessions

Monday

  • 09:00 – 16:00hrs    Veteran advice and guidance drop in. All welcome.

  • 09:00 – 16:00hrs    Veteran advice and guidance drop in. All welcome.

Wednesday

  • 09:00 – 16:00hrs    Veteran advice and guidance drop in. All welcome.

  • 10:00 – 12:30hrs    Housing advice drop in with the Whitechapel Centre. Call for details.
  • 10:00 – 13:00hrs    Complimentary therapies. Call 0151 261 9878 to book a session and for further details.
  • 10:00 – 16:00hrs    Mental health counselling. Call 0151 261 9878 for details.

Thursday

  • 09:00 – 16:00hrs    Veteran advice and guidance drop in. All welcome.
  • 09:00 – 16:00hrs    Veteran employment advice and guidance drop in. All welcome.
  • 10:00 – 15:00hrs    Mental health walk and talks for all abilities. Meet at HQ, transport provided. Takes place twice a month. Call for more details.
  • 10:00 – 15:00hrs    Bushcraft sessions. The sessions take place locally and at a Belisma retreat in Lancashire. Call HQ for details.
  • Third Thursday of the month    Mental health NAAFI breaks at LFC Anfield. This will also include a stadium tour. Call HQ to book.
