Support for Internet Explorer

It looks like you’re using Microsoft Internet Explorer as your web browser. This is now considered ‘end-of-life’, and Microsoft is withdrawing support for it because it uses outdated technology. This means that it will no longer receive important security updates and previous bugs will not be fixed.

This means that the risk and cost are placed on service providers to develop twice for modern browsers and again for Internet Explorer. As free, modern alternatives are available for most platforms it is difficult to justify spending public money on further development.

Local Solutions – online activities for Carers

We are continuing to complete Carers Assessment and Carers Reviews by telephone, online and email, along with providing information, advice, and support.

Online Induction for Carers via Zoom

This is an opportunity to find out what support is available for you from the Health and Wellbeing Team. If you are a carer who has not yet used the Carers Centre or have not attended for a while and would like a reminder of our services, then please join

Knock and Talk Doorstep Chats

The Health and Wellbeing team are carrying out doorstep chats with carers within the community. We are following government guidelines for social distancing. If you feel you would like a doorstep chat or a chat through your window please call the Health
and Wellbeing Team.

Carers Park Walks

Our Park Walks will be resuming soon, in local parks around the city with a maximum of 5 carers per walk leader – we will be ensuring we are adhering to Government social distance guidelines These will be advertised via email, on our

Mindfulness Course

The course will run for 6 weeks on Microsoft office teams and is being run by Adult Learning Services – New dates to be confirmed. Free to eligible carers.

Floristry Course for Beginners
  • Dates to be confirmed

The course will run for 6 week and is an introduction to flower arranging. You will be required to purchase your own flowers for each session, a shopping list will be supplied by the course tutor. The course is being run by Liverpool Adult Learning Service
and will be run online through Microsoft Office Teams.

5 Ways to Wellbeing Course

The course looks at the Governments 5 Ways to Wellbeing Standards which promotes positive Mental Health. In each session you will explore a different topic relating to the 5 ways of wellbeing. Dates to be confirmed.

Photography Course

The course will run for 6 weeks on Microsoft Office Teams and is being run by Liverpool Adult Learning Services, new dates to be arranged.
