Support for Internet Explorer

It looks like you’re using Microsoft Internet Explorer as your web browser. This is now considered ‘end-of-life’, and Microsoft is withdrawing support for it because it uses outdated technology. This means that it will no longer receive important security updates and previous bugs will not be fixed.

This means that the risk and cost are placed on service providers to develop twice for modern browsers and again for Internet Explorer. As free, modern alternatives are available for most platforms it is difficult to justify spending public money on further development.

We are continuing to complete Carers Assessment and Carers Reviews by telephone, online and email, along with providing information, advice, and support.

Upcoming Training and Activities

Men’s Cooking Course
On Zoom

Open for Men only. All the ingredients and equipment needed to take part in the sessions will be delivered to straight to the carers’ door. 

Starts: 7 December, every Tuesday at 11am-12pm and Wednesday 4-5pm for six weeks (there will be a 3 week break scheduled in for Christmas, and the course will restart mid-January).

Online Induction for Carers via Zoom

This is an opportunity to find out what support is available for you from the Health and Wellbeing Team. If you are a carer who has not yet used the Carers Centre or have not attended for a while and would like a reminder of our services, then please join
us for an informal information session. Please book your attendance 

Knock and Talk Doorstep Chats

The Health and Wellbeing team are carrying out doorstep chats with carers within the community every week following social distancing guidelines. 

If you feel you would like a doorstep chat please do let a member of the Health and Wellbeing team know.
