Running club for people of all abilities.
Training Groups
We currently have three groups.
Couch to 5K
This group is designed for people who are new to running.
- We have a 9 week programme designed to get non-runners motivated and enjoying running.
- There are 3 sessions per week on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
- We start with walking / running and gradually increase the amount of time spent running.
Group B
You should be able to –
- run 5K comfortably
- run 5 to 6 miles at a steady pace (11 min/mile+)
Group A
You should be able to –
- run 10K in 50 minutes or less
- run 8 to 9 miles at a good pace (8 min/mile+)
- How can I access this service?
- Complete the membership form on the website and email or post it to us with the subscription fee, or call in on a club night and see us.
- When is this activity on?
- We train every Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6.30PM
- How much will it cost me?
- £45 annual subscription fee (runs April to March). A nominal charge may apply per run.
