Support for Internet Explorer

It looks like you’re using Microsoft Internet Explorer as your web browser. This is now considered ‘end-of-life’, and Microsoft is withdrawing support for it because it uses outdated technology. This means that it will no longer receive important security updates and previous bugs will not be fixed.

This means that the risk and cost are placed on service providers to develop twice for modern browsers and again for Internet Explorer. As free, modern alternatives are available for most platforms it is difficult to justify spending public money on further development.

Please see the Withdrawal of support for Internet Explorer notice from NHS Digital for more information and guidance.

Museum of Liverpool – House of Memories Dementia awareness workshop for families and carers

Dementia awareness training for for family members, friends and community volunteers.

17.03.2020 Venue closures

In line with government recommendations, all National Museums Liverpool venues are temporarily closed to the public until further notice to support efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

The health and safety of our visitors, volunteers and staff is our top priority and, while we understand many of you will be disappointed by the closures, we do not wish to put people at unnecessary risk.

While our museums and galleries are closed, you can still engage with us online via our website and social media and view highlights from our digitised collections online.

Has your life been touched by dementia? If the answer is yes, then the House of Memories dementia awareness for family carers’ workshop is for you. You will find out more about resources and activities that are available to support you and your loved ones.
