Support for Internet Explorer

It looks like you’re using Microsoft Internet Explorer as your web browser. This is now considered ‘end-of-life’, and Microsoft is withdrawing support for it because it uses outdated technology. This means that it will no longer receive important security updates and previous bugs will not be fixed.

This means that the risk and cost are placed on service providers to develop twice for modern browsers and again for Internet Explorer. As free, modern alternatives are available for most platforms it is difficult to justify spending public money on further development.

Please see the Withdrawal of support for Internet Explorer notice from NHS Digital for more information and guidance.

Philosophy in Pubs (PIPs) on Zoom

Philosophy discussion sessions on Zoom. See the website for joinging info for each session.

Philosophy in Pubs (PIPs) is a grass roots community organisation promoting and practising community philosophy in the UK and worldwide. These discussions take place regularly in venues around the country.

Anyone can attend, anyone can propose a topic for discussion, and anyone is welcome to start a group where none exist.

Respect for others and their opinions are a fundamental requirement of the group, as it encourages people to put forward their views without fear of ridicule or intimidation. No academic or philosophical background is necessary, only a passion for enquiry.
Just turn up and enjoy.
