Support for Internet Explorer

It looks like you’re using Microsoft Internet Explorer as your web browser. This is now considered ‘end-of-life’, and Microsoft is withdrawing support for it because it uses outdated technology. This means that it will no longer receive important security updates and previous bugs will not be fixed.

This means that the risk and cost are placed on service providers to develop twice for modern browsers and again for Internet Explorer. As free, modern alternatives are available for most platforms it is difficult to justify spending public money on further development.

British Gymnastics – Love to Move

A chair-based gymnastics programme designed to get older adults (55+) moving and living well with neurological disease such as dementia and Parkinson’s.

The class has huge benefits for people living with neurological disease and their loved ones, as it is social, fun and the unique aspect exercises specifically designed to improve cognition in the brain.

Classes

We have in person classes in South Liverpool for anyone over 55 to attend with no charge.

Tuesday 1.30pm – 3.30pm fortnightly

  • St. Marys Church, Church Road L25 5JF
  • Runs on the alternate Tuesday (to the Strawberry Fields class).

Wednesday 10am – 12pm weekly

  • Ullet Road Church, 57 Ullet Road L17 2AA

Friday 1.30 – 3.30pm fortnightly

  • Strawberry Fields L25 6EJ website
  • Every other Friday, 1.30 – 3.30pm
  • Enjoy a cuppa, biscuits, and chat from 1.30pm.
  • The Love to Move session will run from 2.30pm.
  • Runs on the alternate Friday (to the St Marys class)
