Support for Internet Explorer

It looks like you’re using Microsoft Internet Explorer as your web browser. This is now considered ‘end-of-life’, and Microsoft is withdrawing support for it because it uses outdated technology. This means that it will no longer receive important security updates and previous bugs will not be fixed.

This means that the risk and cost are placed on service providers to develop twice for modern browsers and again for Internet Explorer. As free, modern alternatives are available for most platforms it is difficult to justify spending public money on further development.

FACT – Dementia Friendly Screenings

Screenings of popular films shown in dementia friendly surroundings.

Our Dementia-Friendly screenings are open to all but cater especially for people living with dementia.

Free tea/coffee and biscuits are served before the film, and there’s also a short interval.

Carers

We offer free entry for accompanying carers and accept the CEA card – a national initiative that offers a free ticket to carers/companions accompanying disabled guests to the cinema.

How to register

To find out more about the CEA card scheme and register for a card, visit www.ceacard.co.uk, or contact them via telephone: 0124 452 6016, minicom: 0845 123 1292, textphone: 0845 123 1297 or email: info@ceacard.co.uk. The card is personal to you, and may not be used by other people.

If you’d like your carer to come with you but don’t have a CEA card, please call our accessibility helpline or visit the Box Office to make your booking and we’ll arrange a free carer ticket for you. Signing up for a card isn’t required, but we hope it’ll make buying tickets easier.

You can book your ticket online, by telephone or turn up on the day and buy the ticket from the box office

Disabled access
Wheelchair spaces or seats can be reserved. Pavement access to FACT is available on Wood Street and there is ramp access on Fleet Street at the rear of the building. All areas of the building – including screens and galleries – are accessible to visitors with limited mobility, including wheelchair users. There is a lift, serving all floors, in the main foyer to the left of the Tickets and Information Point. There is a fully accessible adapted toilet on the ground floor, on the second floor near the bar and Gallery 2 and on the third floor adjacent to Screen 2.
