Support for Internet Explorer

It looks like you’re using Microsoft Internet Explorer as your web browser. This is now considered ‘end-of-life’, and Microsoft is withdrawing support for it because it uses outdated technology. This means that it will no longer receive important security updates and previous bugs will not be fixed.

This means that the risk and cost are placed on service providers to develop twice for modern browsers and again for Internet Explorer. As free, modern alternatives are available for most platforms it is difficult to justify spending public money on further development.

Please see the Withdrawal of support for Internet Explorer notice from NHS Digital for more information and guidance.

Frazzled Cafe – online

A peer support group where people (aged 18+) who are feeling frazzled can meet (currently online) on a regular basis to talk and share their personal stories.

Frazzled Cafe meetings are a supportive online community where you can come and talk in a safe, non-judgemental space about what’s really going on for you.

Our different Frazzled Cafe meeting types:

A large Frazzled Cafe meeting with Ruby Wax, held twice a week for around 100 people, and which lasts for an hour.
Facilitator meetings are held every day and are for around 17 people, and last for an hour.
Host meetings are held every day and are for around 15 people, and last for 45 minutes.

About Frazzled Cafe

Is it a cafe?

We appreciate that our name may be a bit confusing but no, we do not operate a cafe. Meetings are currently held online. (some are in person)

Who is Frazzled Cafe aimed at?

We are available for those who would benefit from joining a community of people that share similar feelings or, as Ruby says, the ‘weather conditions’ associated with the struggles of everyday life in a safe environment, without judgement, advice or fear and within our community guidelines and within a trusting environment

Who may not benefit

Unfortunately, we are not a mental health organisation, and therefore unable to provide support to those who are experiencing more severe and enduring levels of distress, or mental ill-health which might impact on their abilities to manage everyday life. For those who are in acute mental health care or receiving higher level interventions may find our meetings detrimental to their wellbeing and also risk impacting others within the groups. We would request that if you feel you may come under this second category, you utilise our Need Help Now’ tab on the website, and seek the best and most effective support for you.

Frazzled Cafe is also not suitable for anyone under 18 years old.
