Support for Internet Explorer

It looks like you’re using Microsoft Internet Explorer as your web browser. This is now considered ‘end-of-life’, and Microsoft is withdrawing support for it because it uses outdated technology. This means that it will no longer receive important security updates and previous bugs will not be fixed.

This means that the risk and cost are placed on service providers to develop twice for modern browsers and again for Internet Explorer. As free, modern alternatives are available for most platforms it is difficult to justify spending public money on further development.

Community based health and fitness classes, working mostly with older people and adults with mental health problems.

Exercises are suitable for beginners, new and returning exercisers unless otherwise stated.

A five week NHS rehabilitation programme for people with chronic hip and/or knee pain.

Integrates an exercise regimen with educational self-management and coping strategies.

As always face-to-face sessions will be charged at £25 per person, refundable on completion of the course. Virtual classes are free.

Virtual ESCAPE-Pain
will resume from 13th June at the new times of Tuesday & Thursday 5pm-6.15pm)

  • ESCAPE-Pain South (Lark
    Lane) – started Monday 9th May 2022, 1pm-2.15pm  
  • ESCAPE-Pain North (Anfield
    SCC) – started Tuesday 10th May 2022, 1pm-2.15pm  

All sessions
run for 5 weeks, 2 sessions per week, and last around 80 minutes.

As a duty of care to
our patients face-to-face sessions at Lark Lane and Anfield are still running under COVID-19 protocols and procedures. Hand sanitising and cleaning will continue, places are limited in numbers for social distancing purposes, however face masks are NOT required
during exercise classes.

As always face-to-face
sessions will be charged at £25 per person, refundable on completion of the course*

*Please note: for patients
to be eligible for a  refund we MUST have the name of the referrer and the service they work for on
the referral letter/online form T’s & C’s apply

How much will it cost me?
Walk and talk is free. Other classes are £3-4 per class per person. ESCAPE-Pain £25 for 5 weeks (twice weekly). We’re now offering monthly memberships (£32 per calendar month, paid on 1st day of each month) which allow you to attend as many classes as you like during each calendar month instead of paying at each session.
