Support for Internet Explorer

It looks like you’re using Microsoft Internet Explorer as your web browser. This is now considered ‘end-of-life’, and Microsoft is withdrawing support for it because it uses outdated technology. This means that it will no longer receive important security updates and previous bugs will not be fixed.

This means that the risk and cost are placed on service providers to develop twice for modern browsers and again for Internet Explorer. As free, modern alternatives are available for most platforms it is difficult to justify spending public money on further development.

Please see the Withdrawal of support for Internet Explorer notice from NHS Digital for more information and guidance.

  • Starts Wednesday 15th June 2022, 2.00-3.30pm

If you’ve had mental health problems, and have some ideas to share about the subject, this might be for you. Kindred Minds wants to hear from people with direct experience of mental ill health in the Liverpool area who wish to take part in a monthly discussion
group.

We want to give people a chance to ‘think out loud’ about mental health and to compare their own experience to other people’s. We hope this will inform Kindred Mind’s social media campaigns to promote Mental Health Awareness.

Participants must be 18+ and identify as having experienced mental distress, but you don’t need a psychiatric diagnosis to attend.

Contact Andy Kerr for further information and details on how to sign up.

Volunteer for our Buddy Scheme

The process of applying for benefits and going for face to face interviews can be hugely off putting for those who lack confidence and/or have difficulty in explaining their reasons to perceived experienced, officials.

Kindred Minds is looking for volunteers who can act as a ‘Buddy’ to some of our service users in this position, to accompany them to appointments.
