Litter picking group for Penny Lane and surrounding streets.
People who want company whilst picking can contact the group. The Facebook group is also for people who want to upload photos showing before/after or bags of rubbish for motivation.
What we do and don’t
We don’t do organised litter picks and we don’t provide any kit – we just do our own thing, whenever we like, wherever we like and as often as we like.
We then post the results on the Facebook group for Penny Lane Wombles. We post photos of litter and before and after photos of streets we’ve litter picked, other members then comment on it or like it and it goes from there. Some people will post on the group
if they want company on a litter pick, some people just like doing their own thing.
Where we are
We are based in Mossley Hill, Allerton, Childwall, Wavertree, Garston and Aigburth.
We support Litter Clear-Volunteer and we also post about organised litter picks for Sefton Park, Greenbank Park and any other events involving litter picking.
