Offers social activities for people living within Everton/Anfield/Walton/Kirkdale areas in particular for those with English as a second language.
What we do
We have a weekly hub that meets at 79 Kempston Street L3 each Friday from 10 – 12pm alongside Micah Community Market (website) where people can shop too they can but 15 non perishable items for £1.50.
We also deliver hate crime awareness workshops in particularly for people new to UK with English as a second language.
Who is it for?
Our hub is open to anyone but we particular encourage people who are socially isolated with few support networks especially if English is a second language as this can be the biggest barrier in developing friendships.
We have 16 languages spoken. The below are our most common.
Arabic, Bulgarian, Burundi, Czech, French, German, Rwandan, Spanish, Urdu
- How can I access this service?
- People can just drop in to hub no pre booking needed – for community family days out we need people to register with us first
- When is this activity on?
- Weekly Hub – Friday each week 10 – 12pm.
- How much will it cost me?
- No cost at the hub. All drinks at the hub are free as are refreshments. Community Market £1.50
