Support for Internet Explorer

It looks like you’re using Microsoft Internet Explorer as your web browser. This is now considered ‘end-of-life’, and Microsoft is withdrawing support for it because it uses outdated technology. This means that it will no longer receive important security updates and previous bugs will not be fixed.

This means that the risk and cost are placed on service providers to develop twice for modern browsers and again for Internet Explorer. As free, modern alternatives are available for most platforms it is difficult to justify spending public money on further development.

Online resources to manage your mental health.

Managing your mental health is really personal to you, so we’ll offer you lots of different options. You can pick and choose the mental health resources that fit you. Upbeat could support you to:

  • relaxation, meditation and mindfulness exercises; 
  • ways to look after your physical health and fitness and feel more mentally well in the process;  
  • courses exploring your emotions and how to channel them more positively; and   

creative and expressive activities like singing, painting, poetry, photography, arts and crafts and so much more.

How can I get more mental health support and join live sessions?

If you identify as having a mental health challenge, you live in Liverpool (Liverpool City Council area) and you are 18-years old or over; you might also be able to join in on our live mental health sessions and get group support from our team.  This way you can meet other people with similar experiences. 

As a member you can sign-up to our Upbeat Forum to join mental health and wellbeing discussions, to share your experiences and get top-tips and advice on wellbeing approaches that work for different people.

What is the Upbeat self-care suitcase? 

Here at Upbeat Liverpool, you can create a self-care suitcase to take with you on your journey through life. Your self-care suitcase will be personal to you. It’ll be an online space filled with all the different things that you feel will support you on your wellbeing journey. You’ll be able to save articles and blog posts so that there all in one place – your online suitcase. This means that you’ll be able to access them quickly and easily. Go to the page

Anyone can take a look around our ‘self-care suitcase’ (on the menu bar), where you can save your favourite articles or just have a look around. To get involved with our courses or sessions you’ll need to sign-up to become a PSS Wellbeing Centres member. See the website or email for more info.
