Support for Internet Explorer

It looks like you’re using Microsoft Internet Explorer as your web browser. This is now considered ‘end-of-life’, and Microsoft is withdrawing support for it because it uses outdated technology. This means that it will no longer receive important security updates and previous bugs will not be fixed.

This means that the risk and cost are placed on service providers to develop twice for modern browsers and again for Internet Explorer. As free, modern alternatives are available for most platforms it is difficult to justify spending public money on further development.

Steve Biko Housing Association: New Horizons Project

Employability support for tenants of Steve Biko Housing and Pine Court Housing Associations and any individual from the BAME community. We are here to support the aspirations of unemployed individuals from these communities to move forward into employment,
education, and training. 

What we offer with our employability sessions:-                                                         

  • Boost your skills and confidence.                                                                               
  • Build and improve your CV.
  • Gain experience through volunteering and work placements.
  • One to one employment advice.
  • Six week training provided (4hrs per week).

Requirements needed to join include:-

  • You must be legally able to reside in the UK.
  • You need to be unemployed to be eligible for these sessions.
  • You must also provide an ID, along with proof of address and any benefits that you receive.
