Support for Internet Explorer

It looks like you’re using Microsoft Internet Explorer as your web browser. This is now considered ‘end-of-life’, and Microsoft is withdrawing support for it because it uses outdated technology. This means that it will no longer receive important security updates and previous bugs will not be fixed.

This means that the risk and cost are placed on service providers to develop twice for modern browsers and again for Internet Explorer. As free, modern alternatives are available for most platforms it is difficult to justify spending public money on further development.

Please see the Withdrawal of support for Internet Explorer notice from NHS Digital for more information and guidance.

Talking Therapies Liverpool (formerly Talk Liverpool)

Provides psychological treatments, sometimes called talking therapy, to help people with common mental health problems such as feeling stressed, feeling low in mood (depressed) or very nervous (anxiety).

What do we offer?

Are you pregnant or have a child up to 24 months?

From January 2024, Talking Therapies Liverpool is offering a six-week perinatal ‘skills for wellbeing’ course at Granby Childrens centre for any parent, mums and dads.

This course supports parents with depression or anxiety, providing cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) techniques. CBT looks at how thoughts, feeling and behaviour affect your current difficulties, which helps you explore and understand the feelings of anxiety and depression and find new approaches to them.

It’s at Granby children’s centre and you can refer yourself using this link.

The therapist will help you develop skills to help with your problems, we look forward to welcoming you and you’re welcome to bring your babies.

This free and confidential talking therapy service is available to adults aged 16 or over who are registered with a Liverpool GP.

If you live outside of Liverpool, more information can be found on the NHS Talking Therapies website.
