Support for Internet Explorer

It looks like you’re using Microsoft Internet Explorer as your web browser. This is now considered ‘end-of-life’, and Microsoft is withdrawing support for it because it uses outdated technology. This means that it will no longer receive important security updates and previous bugs will not be fixed.

This means that the risk and cost are placed on service providers to develop twice for modern browsers and again for Internet Explorer. As free, modern alternatives are available for most platforms it is difficult to justify spending public money on further development.

Meetings

We meet the second Tuesday of each month in the Liner Hotel Lord Nelson Street.

Our activities include a walking club, theatre club, book club,lunch club cinema group. we are open to retired NHS and civil service employees. There is no lower or upper age limit and we have members from 50-90 plus.

About The NHS Retirement Fellowship

The NHS Retirement Fellowship is the organisation for NHS and social care staff, providing a bridge between life in employment and new opportunities in retirement.  Members enjoy a range of activities and interests meeting former colleagues, making new friends and participating in a variety of events. Walking, golf, photography and sightseeing are just some of the activities enjoyed, and members benefit from various discounts including cruises, holidays and annual worldwide travel, home and car insurance.

There are local branches across Britain and new members are welcome to join our friendly organisation, to benefit from the services on offer and to support retired colleagues.
