Set a clear goal
A clear goal will provide focus and direction, it will help give clarity to your decision making and puts you in control of your own future. It can help keep you motivated as you remember why you are choosing your activities. It only needs to be a sentence or two about your ideal outcome and why you want that.
Decide on the key steps
Think about the main things that will help you achieve your goal, these should be 3–5 specific things you can do that are relevant to you and what you want out of your Action Plan.
There are lots of activities, groups and organisations in our directory that can help you along your way. If you know the type of activity you would like to do, you can search the directory. Alternatively, you can choose activities based on how you want to be or feel – Active, Creative, Useful, Social, Calm. You can also view some of our suggestions for activities that people often find helpful.
